Finishing Expert (m/f/d)

We attach particular importance to working in partnership with our customers and jointly developing tailored solutions from the initial idea through to implementation in the series production process.

The hiring location will be one of our European plants. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Creation, Implementation and Compliance with Finishing Standards
• Searching for new solutions to meet customer requirements with a focus on high efficiently, cost reduction and standards creation and implementation.
• Optimization of current solutions (Proposing modifications to current solutions)
• Product and tools designee and analyse in case of process feasibility and risk management. 
• Monitor process parameters and adjust settings to optimize quality and productivity
• Identify and resolve technical issues during finishing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality, and engineering
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and process innovation
• Creation of equipment technical specification. 
• Support in new projects development with reference to finishing activities. 
• Training on finishing processes for plant teams 
• Manging of suppliers and customers communication with cooperation to program management. 
• Supporting to the North Americas plants in case of problem solving 
• Cooperation with plant technical team and technical managers. 

Your Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in finishing technologies and new projects development. 
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Project Management incl. project responsibility
• Working knowledge of CAD software for checking and confirming feasibility for tools and products. 
• Communicative level of English (both spoken and written)
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and with a problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to travel based on project or internal customers’ needs

• Strong technical background in EPDM and TP finishing processes like moulding, cutting, coating. 
• Team player with good communication
• Leadership skills
• Open to learning and adapting in a dynamic production environment
• Decision-making based on facts
• Common sense and perception of context
