Training content
The training as a warehouse clerk on the one hand involves you getting a forklift driving licence so that you can fully learn and master your area of responsibility. And on the other, you will learn how to accept goods and check deliveries based on accompanying documents, and how to transport the goods to their respective destination correctly. As a warehouse clerk, you are responsible for unpacking goods, sorting and storing them as required, and for checking inventories, all in keeping with the warehouse requirements, naturally. Your training will also include the loading and unloading of trucks. In all these activities, you are supported by modern information and communication systems, transport equipment/high-bay forklifts and industrial trucks, as well as your responsible trainer.
What should you bring along?
- a good pass CSE as a minimum (Hauptschulabschluss-equivalent)
- an interest in warehousing and warehouse logistics
- dependability, motivation, the ability to work in a team, own initiative
