Training content

This training will help you acquire detailed metalworking know-how, which we communicate to you in our training workshop, amongst other skills. Here you will learn how to drill, mill, turn, grind and file precisely to the specifications of technical drawings. You will also learn how to manage and use CNC machines. A tool mechanic's other tasks include servicing and repairing damaged or worn tool parts and moulds, which you will learn with the instruction and help of your trainers.
 

What should you bring along?

• a good pass CSE as a minimum (Hauptschulabschluss-equivalent)
• interest and technical aptitude
